Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely popular. As a child, Sara was racially taunted by American citizens of all races. It was in her ninth grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim in an audition. The singer not only gained confidence from the experience and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. She attended New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. Her biggest break came with her role as The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her performance. In the year following, she joined the ABC series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider recognition for it. As a well-known singer, she released her own single and an extended version of her play. She is an activist who strives in the cause of LGBT equality.
