Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia on the 14th of May 1964. Her parents are Jewish. She is currently at 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother is her name. Gene Kolber, is her father. In 1982, she graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in telecommunications in 1986 at the University of Miami. As a student at the undergraduate level, she landed an opportunity as the sports director of Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Aside from that, she also worked at the company for two years between 1984 and 1986. In this time she also was a member of the water ski team in The University of Miami. Plaza was a part of Wilmington's community theatre, directing as well as performing one-act plays. Following high school, she relocated to New York City where she attended improv courses at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and trained in television and film production at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts graduating in 2006. The condition she was diagnosed with was aphasia. age 20, a temporary condition that hinders her ability to communicate and comprehend the language.
