Lisa Olivia Munn is a born and raised in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese origins, and Winston Barrett Munn's clan has roots deep in the American South. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of two. Her family consisted of her mother, who served in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. Olivia was raised mostly within Tokyo within Japan. Even though her family had moved from Oklahoma to many other places but it was in Tokyo which she completed the bulk of her education. During this time she performed in several local theatre productions, and then became a model in the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia relocated in Los Angeles after the family's return to the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actress. She began her acting career by playing a minor part. Her career then began to take off after she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's receptionist. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". Her love of surfing is something she's continued after the TV program Beyond the Break. Also, she has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. When she was two years old her mother remarried, this time to a member from the US Air Force. They have relocated several times, but she spent most of her childhood in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalist with minors in Japanese and dramatic art.
