Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people know her from her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' While she is a performer but her main passion is music. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something she has dabbled at when she was nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough that she began professionally trained. At the age of 13, she started writing her own music. Her first cover album didn't come out until fourteen years later. From that moment on she's not looked back. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic culture. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Her YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote for the judges during the Seattle audition. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". The live performances were held in the 5th week.
